1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the SatGate platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SatGate provides API protection and payment services, including:
- Capability token-based API authentication
- Traffic observation and analytics (Observe mode)
- Budget enforcement and rate limiting (Control mode)
- Per-request payment processing (Charge mode)
- Gateway configuration management
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Interfere with the Service's operation
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use the Service to transmit malware or harmful code
5. Service Tiers and Billing
SatGate offers multiple service tiers (Free, Pro, Enterprise). Pricing and features are described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Trial Period
New accounts receive a 14-day Pro trial with full access to Pro features. After the trial period, accounts automatically downgrade to the Free tier unless upgraded to a paid plan.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process API traffic metadata for the Service's operation but do not access the content of your API requests except as necessary to provide the Service.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by SatGate and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data and configurations.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SATGATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
